Pamela Rettig


 

Pamela graduated from Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene in 1989 and returned to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree from Northwestern University in1992. She completed her master of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene at University of Missouri Kansas City in 1993. She has taught dental hygiene for 31 years, including her current position at Indiana university School of Dentistry. She currently serves as the dental hygiene first year clinical director. Additionally, she teaches community dental health and oral anatomy. Pamela has also worked in prviate practice within the Indianapolis area. During her tenure within Indiana, she has served as IDHA component President, component Treasurer, IDHA Treasurer, and IDHA Secretary. In her spare tie outside of dentlalhygiene she practices hot yoga and pilates along with teach yin yoga.

HEATHER WALDRON

Heather graduated from IUSB with an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004 and then returned to finish her Bachelor's and graduated in 2013. She is currently finishing her certificate for Community Dental Health Coordinator online at Catawba Valley Community College in North Carolina and also scheduled to finish her Master's degree in Healthcare Innovation from Arizona State University online in July 2023. Heather has practiced clinically since 2004. She has a history outside the clinic in Revenue Cycle Management and has worked closely with oral surgery offices to improve systems. Currently, she works as an adjunct faculty at Ivy Tech from 2020 and teaches Community Health which has a special place in her heart. On top of all that Heather works as an oral health consultant with Summit Managed Solutions working with clients to improve oral health strategies that utilize community outreach to bring services to Hoosiers. She has been part of the association on and off since graduation but has stayed committed since 2020 and served as the Northwest Component Chair to get involved. Heather is currently our IDHA Treasurer, HI-PAC Treasurer,
and on the Legislative Committee.

Megan Stotts

Megan graduated from Ivy Tech- Anderson in 2011 with an associates of science in dental hygiene.

 

She was very active as a student member of IDHA and is passionate about getting students involved and set up with mentorship.

Megan lives in Greenwood, IN and has been in private practice there for 12 years.

​

Megan is always excited about new technology and what’s the latest and greatest for our career.

Josie Madden

Josie is a 1984 graduate from IUSB with an associate degree in Dental Hygiene. As a student, Josie was Vice-President of the IUSB SADHA from 1982-83 and President from 1983-84. She has been a member of The IDHA for a combination of 13 plus years, from 1984-1992 and currently since 2020. During 2022-2023 she was the last Central Component Chair prior to the position being dissolved in 2023 and has been on the annual conference committee since 2021.
Josie has worked in private practice for over 44 years, first as a dental assistant and then a dental
hygienist. She has been employed at GCR Family Dentistry for over 40 years. She has met many challenges and changes throughout her years in this profession. She is committed to protecting our profession and helping to ensure that it will prosper for years to come. Josie has been married to her husband John for almost 37 years. They live in Indianapolis, have 4 children, and 4 grandsons. They enjoy spending time with their family and planning their next big vacation.

ADHA 3-Year Delegate
BIANCA MIZIMAKOSKI

Bianca is a 2009 graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry and has been a member of IDHA since 2020. She practiced clinical dental hygiene for 11 years in a variety of settings including private practice, nonprofit, public health, and higher education before transitioning into a career in government affairs. Currently, Bianca serves as the Legislative Policy Director in the Indiana House of Representatives where she works with legislators, state agencies, and stakeholders to develop legislation and drive strategic agenda. Prior to this role, Bianca worked with Kreig DeVault's Government Affairs Practice Group where she represented clients lobbying to the Indiana General Assembly including the Indiana Dental Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, IU Health, Indiana Rural Health Association, United Way of Central Indiana, Women4Change and more. Bianca has also served as a press with the Indiana House of Representatives where she managed written communications, developed a media relations framework, and successfully developed and grew social media platforms, including launching viral campaigns.

 

Bianca looks forward to bringing the skills she has developed in her career in government to IDHA and her role as the ADHA 3-Year Delegate.
